Who are we?: We are the N Scale Enthusiasts (NSE) We educate adults kids and families about the hobby of model railroading and safety around railroads.
Why your city?
Our National conventions move from city to city each year, sharing and showing the story of the ‘fun of N Scale model railroading’. Hundreds are drawn from all over the world.
We don’t come often! We were last in Overland Park KS for our 2016 event.
What is N Scale?
It refers to the size, or gauge we enjoy the most. The letter ’N’ for ’Nine’ millimeters between the rails. 1/160 of real size. Miniature? Yes! We like it like that for so many reasons! Please, come and find out why!

Why should you come?
The hobby of model railroading is a wonderful past time. Fun for old, young, and all family members. A wonderful way to enjoy friends and family together as you explore, build, or simply collect a miniature railroad world. It is both social as well as educational and really leads to a lifetime of learning and friendships.
Our convention and train show showcases the manufactures, builders, collectors, and general enthusiasts, as well as over 18,000 square feet of model railroad worlds with 100 car trains that are set up for only a few days for the public’s enjoyment and inspiration.
